This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use Idle Machinist (the "Game"). By downloading and using the Game, you agree to the practices described here.

Privacy Policy

(I) Overview

Idle Machinist does not require an account. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or any comparable personal information. Your game progress is stored only on your own device and is never sent to a server we control.

The only third party involved is Google AdMob, which serves the optional rewarded ads in the Game. When an ad is shown, Google may process certain device data under its own privacy policy.

(II) Information We Process

II.I. Data we collect directly

None. As the developer, we do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data. The Game has no user accounts, no login, no cloud saves, and no analytics SDK.

II.II. Data stored on your device

To function, the Game stores the following in your device's local app storage (SharedPreferences on Android, UserDefaults on iOS):

Settings (language, haptics strength, music volume) | Remembering your preferences

This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes all of it. The in-game reset option also erases your saved progress.

II.III. Data processed by the ad network

The Game includes optional rewarded ads (for example, to double offline earnings, speed up production, or refresh orders). These ads are served by Google AdMob.

When an ad is displayed, Google may access the following for ad delivery, frequency capping, and fraud prevention:

Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA)
Device model, OS version, language, and general region
Approximate location derived from IP address (country/city level)
Ad interaction data (impressions, views, clicks)

Opting out of personalized ads: You can reset your advertising ID or disable personalized ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). Watching ads is entirely optional — the full Game is playable without viewing any ad.

(III) How Data Is Used

Data stored on your device is used solely to operate the Game: saving your progress, computing offline earnings, and remembering your settings. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

(IV) Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with anyone, because we do not collect it. The Game's only data sharing occurs through Google AdMob during ad delivery, as described above.

We may be required to disclose information to comply with a legal obligation (such as a court order). In practice, we hold no user data on any server, so there is nothing to disclose.

(V) Security and Retention

Game data resides in the app storage area protected by your device's operating system. It remains on your device until you delete the app or reset your progress from within the Game.

If your device is lost, wiped, or the app is uninstalled, your progress cannot be recovered — there is no cloud backup.

(VI) Children's Privacy

Idle Machinist is a general-audience game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). Because the Game displays ads, we recommend using parental control settings on a child's device. If you believe a child's data has been processed, please contact us at the email address above.

(VII) Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / KVKK)

Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/EEA, CCPA in California, KVKK in Türkiye), you have rights to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of your personal data.

Since we hold no data about you:

Right to erasure: Uninstalling the app immediately deletes all of your game data.
Ad-related data: For data processed by Google AdMob, use Google's privacy tools and your device's ad settings.

(VIII) Permissions

The Game uses internet access so that ads can load. It does not request sensitive device permissions such as camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or files.

(IX) Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When a material change is made, the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
